conversation is therefore a huge part of my being me. I love talking to people of all different backgrounds, and especially on a cross-cultural level. I'm trying to avoid going to places just to say that I've been there. Immersing yourself into the daily activities of a culture gives you a better sense of it's differences with your own, instead of just seeing putting yourself into a photo of a building that's been photographed a million times

I hosted surfers from all over when I was living in Philadelphia, but have yet to really surf myself. help me change that!

Wittgenstein, Nietzsche, Sartre, Vonnegut, David Foster Wallace, Kundera, Bukowski, Hemingway. jazz, fusion, funk, blues, rock, some indie stuff, some 90s stuff, definitely some 80s stuff(Hall and Oates!), classical, etc. Film is just amazing in general, but I think the Coen Brothers sum up my interest pretty well
