About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm travelling all around the pacific for the next several months (March-July 2014). I'm looking to meet as many people and have as much fun as possible.
ABOUT ME
I'm a college student from the American south, taking the spring of 2014 off to travel. I love meeting people, new experiences, all of that typical mid-twenties crap most of us say. I have a powerfully dry sarcasm, a slight southern drawl, a reckless love of adventure, and am an eagle scout (making me the ideal house guest ;)).
Given the right mood I can really go for most any kind of conversation, from getting to know someone, to talking about philosophy, politics, stupid things done at parties etc. I'm also always happy to just have a few drinks and bust jokes all night.
Sort of shooting off to the other side of the world to have as much fun as possible, hope you're part of it!
PHILOSOPHY
Dying is certain, living is not.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of indie music, free folk, power pop, and, electronica.
I'm big into movies, The Godfather, The Untouchables, Garden State, Trainspotting, and V for Vendetta all stand out.
Favorite books include The Great Gatsby, Invisible Man (Ellison), Brave New World, Goodbye Columbus, and everything by J.R.R Tolkien.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have a 6 inch scar on my upper thigh from a mountaineering accident in the Swiss Alps and was charged by a pack of wild boar last summer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm pretty good with trivia, know a lot more useless stuff than otherwise. History has been the center of my studies. I follow current events pretty closely. For me reading, thinking, and talking are all for the sake of developing a better understanding of the human condition.
On the practical side of things I know a lot about the outdoors, wilderness survival etc. I love to cook almost as much as I love making drinks.
