About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is learning to cook all over the world. Currently I've only done so in New Jersey, but I am ready to learn about other cultures foods and cooking techniques.
ABOUT ME
I'm a rolling stone to say the least, I've moved about 8 times or so in the last 10 years. I'm currently enrolled in Culinary school and work at a great restaurant. I love cooking and trying out new recipes and techniques. I'm always down for a good time especially if it includes being outside. My friends and I like to go rafting, kyaking, hiking and camping. We also like to drink and smoke. I hope to travel around the world once I finish school because with cooking you can go wherever you want. Once I'm done with school though I would like to work on a cruise ship and then travel to Cali for a while, and after that head to Vietnam, China, Italy and learn what they have to teach and eat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Not having a place to live so many times, I know how hard it can be especially when you just want to sleep. I'm always willing to give the hospitality that people have showed me so many times. I also can't wait to go on some of the CS excursions and meet all the people who are changing this world better than the government ever could.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've slept on many peoples other couches in my life, but just to live nothing too exciting. One time my friends were doing an open mic in New Brunswick though and this kid from Vermont was playing there as well. During his set he asked if anyone had a couch that he could use for the night. I discussed it with my current roommates and we bartered our couch for a ride home from the bar. The kid was a really good musician and an awesome person to hang out with. He uploaded his music onto all of our computers and we chilled for the rest of the night.
Interests
Cooking, Traveling, Rafting, Kayaking, Camping, Hiking, Drinking, Smoking, Vanning(its like driving in a car, but in a van), going to the beach, exploring the city. I also don't mind stopping in a few antique shops and buying some old cooking equipment or anything else.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to entertainment I'm always into comedies, i love laughing. My music taste is pretty much any genre of rock such as classic, punk, ska and reggae, alternative. I'm not much of a reader but when I do pick up a book its usually Christopher Moore who is a great fiction writer. I loved Catcher in the Rye and I've read both of Anthony Bourdain's books recently.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time my two friends and myself were rafting on a small lake in my hometown at the time. It was calm on the lake and we were just talking and drinking, enjoying the day over all. I brought up the fact to my friends that just on the other side is a man made waterfall, which is more than a slide than a waterfall. What we didn't account for was that a huge hurricane had just flooded NJ a week before. So we decide we are gonna go off this waterfall on the raft so we tie up all our personal belongings into our friends sweater and smoke one last cigarette. When we get to the top I say the famous last words, "Worse case we will just get a little wet." SO because of the storm the lake was well overflowed and the water was crashing so hard into the bottom of the waterfall. We reach the edge and the next thing i remember i am underwater. We were rescued by the fire/police/emt department because a party at the local VFW called 911. We played it off like we didn't know it was there and were put into the 5 or so local papers the following week. We also lost all of our belongings including but not limited to: glasses, wallets, phones. I still have the article to show anyone that crashes at our place.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could help teach you anything i know about. Such as the stuff in my personal interests like rowing a boat or cooking. I know a lot of information and skill about food. I could teach you how to make pasta from scratch or tell you what foods you should be enjoying during which seasons. I would love to learn everything there is to do about food, especially Molecular Gastronemy.
