ABOUT ME

(Currently in Ashland, OH) BA in English Lit. 130 hour TESOL certificate holder. I taught in South Korea for a year and a half. I work part-time for a consulting firm and am a semi-professional gambler. (Blackjack, horses, craps and various forms of poker.) I am an avid chess player and love to travel.

Music:Pink Floyd, Ozzie (Sabbath and whatnot) Grateful Dead, the Doors, Metallica, Classic rock, Classical, Romantic and Baroque musics (Vivaldi, Handel, Bach, Schubert, Beethoven, Mozart.., all the greats as well as Maurice Ravel, Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein.) I also like pre-Meiji Japanese compositions and Qing dynasty (Chinese) compositions.
Books:
Sci-fi/Fantasy... Clarke, Asimov, Bradbury, Gibson, Benford, various classical and Victorian and Georgian era English works and writers such as Joseph Conrad, Conan Doyle, D.H. Lawrence, Tennyson, Carroll, Thackery, Trollope. G.K. Chesterson. I also like old scholarly writings and encyclopedias. I love books on recondite subjects. I like reading material that is very in depth. I enjoy rooting through old bound versions of the Saturday Review, The Graphic, Popular Science/Mechanics and other bound yearly magazine publications from the past to the present. I am a Urantia Book reader. I basically enjoy reading everything.
