About Me
ABOUT ME
Just your average 20-something who's trying to reinvent her life. I studied Psychology and Biology at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. I'm a nerd at heart and have an unnatural affinity towards cheese.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My best friend and I took advantage of the glorious hospitality our fellow couch surfers showed us during our west-coast adventure several years ago.
Aside from that, I love meeting knew people. I would be perfectly willing to meet up with a friendly guy or gal to exchange tidbits of knowledge and stupidity over a drink.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
FREAKING FANTASTIC. From getting kicked out of hotels in Vancouver to dancing like fools in Portland, I've had absolutely the best experiences with hosts and other surfers.
Interests
My dog, a good book, and the great outdoors is all I really need in life.
Traveling, science, movies, music, reading, sewing, hiking, camping, beer, science fiction, comics, nature documentaries and David Attenborough's dulcet tones, theatre, psychology, research, learning, cheese.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies-Campy horror films, quirky movies that may or may not be directed by Wes Anderson, anything Joss Whedon does because that man can do no wrong, foreign films.
From Mozart to Beirut to Led Zeppelin, my music library is as ADHD as it is hungry.
I was the kid who stayed up late with a flashlight so I could read past bedtime. Check out my Goodreads account: http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/8087671-leslie
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Taking a road trip so that I could see a NASA space shuttle launch back in 2011. My favorite life experiences typically involve my travels!
Teach, Learn, Share
Psychology and Biology are my two areas of study. I can't promise much, but I can share what I know. I love the human body and tend to know random facts.
Language is a big deal for me. I've never been one who is one of those natural language learners, but I have endless patience for anyone who's trying to learn English. I want to improve my meager Spanish and Turkish.
I want to learn the harmonica.
