ABOUT ME

Moving to New Brunswick, New Jersey (holla) starting in August. Traveling this summer, see you in Europe or Asia I hope!

I like the following things: culture (high and low alike), going out to see the sights, staying in with a book or a movie, outdoors in moderation, animals, H&M and Trader Joe's, reading BBC and the Economist as well as semi-trashy gossip blogs, mojitos, learning foreign languages, trying to cook new things, sleeping in on the weekend, resolving problems or just avoiding them if I can get away with it, irony and wit, smiling at babies, good grammar and a healthy vocabulary, etc etc

I am gay. I don't care if you are or not, but obviously you should be cool with me at the least.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a guy I met in Brazil for about a month. I'd like to return the favor albeit for a much shorter amount of time.

Books: Just about anything that's well written. Favorite authors include Dave Eggers, Dick Francis, Hemingway, Jared Diamond, Jane Austen, Vonnegut, Crichton, Salman Rushdie, I'm sure I can think of more later.

Movies: Good ones, also, really bad ones. City of God, L'Albergue Espagnol, Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down, Brokeback Mountain, 28 Days Later, Dawn of the Dead (original), Not Another Teen Movie, Halloween

Music: Depends on my mood but usually anything with a beat or that you can relax to.
