I am couch surfing because I think it's the best way to travel and learn about people, culture and food! I enjoy the warmth and company of local people more than the spotless cleanliness of serviced hotel rooms. I love listening to people's stories and their life lessons. I am a big believer in the inherent goodness of people! As a designer trying to transition to social design I am consciously trying to find more and more ways to learn from the lived realities of people so I can be a part of helping improve social conditions through research and design practice.
