I'm a child of three nations: Iceland, Denmark and Canada. My travels have mostly involved flying over the Atlantic to Denmark to see my father, or to Iceland to stay connected to my homeland. But I always come back to Calgary.
I like to make people laugh, as then I know they have the same weird sense of humour as I do :)

I suppose there isn't a better way to travel, than to have someone give you a safe place to stay, without asking for a credit card number. It also seems like a great opportunity to make friends around the world.

-- Historical European Martial Arts (Sword fighting - primarily with a long sword - is a new hobby that quickly became a passion. I've been practicing it for about half a year now).
-- I have a Moto Guzzi V7 Classic. I call her my Bianca Bestia, because she has the ugliest sounding horn for such a beautiful bike.
I've got a lot more interests, but these are currently the ones fuelling my lust for life ~~

My soul finds peace outdoors, in nature, though sadly I'm lately far too often trapped in the city. I love camping and even more the sound of rain when in my tent.

I prefer pubs over clubs.

Lately especially, I can't get enough of classic Oldies. These days I'm switching between classic love oldies, like Roy Orbison, to Classic Hawaiian Steel Guitar, to soul, reggae and easy-going patio vibes. Must be the good weather we're having in western Canada..

I can be quiet and shy sometimes... I'd rather have comfortable silence than share awkward conversation. But when I'm out of my shell and feel a good connection with someone, I could talk for hours on end.
Living honestly is key. I am a human being, who understands kindness and compassion is far more constructive than selfishness and greed.

I'm always very accommodating and don't like to be an inconvenience, ever. I like to show my gratitude in any way I can, whether it's cleaning the kitchen or buying a few drinks or a meal in return for a host's generosity.
