Hey! My name's Thorben and I'm a 22 year old dude from Bottrop, a city in the heart of the Ruhr-Area, Germany.
Right now I'm studying journalism and public relations and work as a writer for a travel magazine.

I grew up listening to the music by Queen and listen to very much stuff of various genres! From Folk, to Hard Rock, Metal or Singer-Songwriter Stuff - I just listen to what flatters my ears haha

Picking a favorite movie is just as hard as picking a favorite artist or child. This is really hard. But I really like Shutter Island, Black Spot (a french series, it's brilliant!), The Impossible, Into the Wild, Interstellar, Prisoners, The Insidious Movies, No Country for Old Men, Seven, Fargo, American History X, The Pianist, Donnie Darko, Watchmen, Finding Nemo ...

And I love the books written by Simon Beckett.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2018 I travelled to South America, spent some nights in the Peruvian jungle and Andes - I collected so many great memories there that my visit in Machu Picchu doesn't even seem spectacular to me anymore.

Also, in 2016 I went to the Nova Rock Festival in Austria with four friends. Traveled over 1000km for it - and it was sooo worth it.

I can teach you some drum basics and how to use a camera properly! I also can tell you a lot about my adventures in Peru and South-East-Asia.

I'm always open to learn new stuff - doesn't matter if it's about your hometown, your country, animals, politics, your hobbies and so on. I love to try new things.
