Overview
About Me
My name is Thorben and I was born in 1992.
I'm living in a small village named Nattenheim which exists since the 7th century. It's just 4 miles away from a small town called Bitburg, the hometown of the best beer around the world "Bitburger" :D
I like to be outside in the nature and to do sports. I play in a german footballteam and I like to do every kind of crafts and trades, do-it-yourself is kind of my life motto.
I like to cook but I hate to do the dishes :D
Some of my other hobbys are motorcycling and bowshooting
Here a few words which will give you a first impression of mine:

-pragmatic
-a bit chaotic
-easy to handle
-open-minded
-allways in a good Moode (364 Days a year)
-I've no problems to get up early

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've finished my Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and now I'm doing a work-and-travel journey in Canada from April 16 2018 till 2019.
First reason why I'm signed in here is that I'd like to improve my English and to learn French (more tahn I did in the three years of school :-) ). Second reason is that I want to explore the canadian culture and their people.
Naturally I'm trying to save as much money as I can, so I can stay in Canada for the whole 12 months to get to see of the country as much as I can. But don't think of me as a miser.
When I'm back home I will definitely start to house travelers.
