Overview
About Me
Well, I actually don't really like presenting myself as an awesome, special and unique guy. Maybe this reveals already a personal characteristic. However, I guess you guys won't accept it, if I leave this field blank. Therefore I'll outline a few points that come to my mind ;-)
I would describe me as an honest and reliable guy. I think I'm quite reflectve, open-minded and straightforward. I like people that know how to smile, do not take themselves too serious and are up for new activities and spontaneous adventures.
What I do not like at all is arrogancy and dishonesty.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I like the couchsurfing spirit - it's an amazing community. It's a great way of getting in touch with locals from all over the world. Simply put: It's the most natural and pure way of traveling, I could ever imagine :-)

Music, Movies, and Books
Regarding (dance) music, I like melodic electronic music (e.g. electro swing). But I do like a lot of different other genres (except for instance metal or hardcore techno stuff). What I loathe however, are most of these ridiculous songs that you can find in the charts nowadays.
Let me just list a few favourite films and TV series: Manchester by the sea, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Toni Erdmann, The Revenant, Game of Thrones, Homeland.
A long way down by Nick Hornby, Marina by Carlos Ruiz Zafón.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed overnight in a treehouse in the midst of Lao jungle. It was reachable by ziplining only!! And there was a shower, too. Taking a shower above the tree tops has been damned amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to navigate a punt down the Neckar River, fly a stunt kite, how to prepare a bondfire (if you got a lighter^^) and how to enjoy life (that's the easiest one: you just need a great place with a stunning view, a coffee and a few biscuits;-) )
Well, and not to forget: I like almost all kind of sports - so I could give you probably support in a lot of different sportive activities and I'm always looking for mates who join me ;-)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Epic stories of former trips?! Well, let's see what happens, I'm really up for a lot of activities and adventures ;-) Of course it would be great, if we cook together sometimes. I could buy the ingredients for instance. Doesn't that sound well?
