Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing for many reasons, one of which is that my current income is rather limited.
More important is my interest to learn more about the people in their countries and about their cultures though.
I love social networking and the multitude of possibilities that it offers and I believe that Couchsurfing might give me an oportunity to get in touch with locals in a way which hotels or hostels never would.

I love reading books, listening to music and watching movies.
Among my favorites are Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, but the list is far greater than that. :)
A book which is very important for me and which I am reading almost every day is Eileen Caddys Opening Doors Within.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing and life changing experience I have had in my life was to live a year abroad in the US.
I was participating in a youth exchange program and visited the Highschool in Chisago City, Minnesota.
This year has had a very positive and lasting effect on my life and I am grateful for having had the chance.
