I'm currently rooting down at home, writing software, running a local internet service, and occasionally playing music. I live alone with my cat in the house I grew up in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My last major travel was a 1 year bicycle music tour of Europe from May 2010 - June 2011. For the first 6 months I traveled with the Pleasant Revolution Bicycle Music Festival World Tour (http://pleasantrevolution.net). That was an adventure of a lifetime. I then stayed on in Europe for another 6 months, mostly visiting people I met during the tour, and taking more time in fewer places to have a richer experience.

I stayed in many couches during that time, as well as in the natural outdoors. All of my CS experiences have been great, and I'm very grateful for such a wonderful community.

I have opened my couch to friends and acquaintances, and have had mostly positive experiences with this.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode a bicycle over the Pyrenees from Toulouse to Barcelona. Met and had lunch with the inventors of the WWW and the Internet at a conference in NYC.
