Interests

The great wide open: I'm closing in on the rather respectable age of 25 and have made my way to 31 different countries so far (still counting). Travelling is not an interest for me, it's a lifestyle.

The book that was left open: A Huge consumer of literature, ranging from easy-reading Stephen King to delving into the business world.

Keeping my lungs open: I enjoy a variety of sports, but the only ones that I nowadays manage to do on a frequent basis are CrossFit, running, gym and street workout.

Ears open: I have no sense of rhythm and a voice only suitable for late-night karaoke singing, BUT I have a vast library of music, write critical album reviews and can recommend you a good artist from any genre you enjoy, be it dream pop, drone or progressive technical death metal!

Open: I really do like people who are open towards anything new, and spend the majority of my time with these people.

Aa for movies, Stand by Me, apocalypto, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, American Psycho, Requiem for a Dream, The Bucket List, City of God, plus I'm a huge sucker for the LOTR -trilogy and watch all three parts every year.

Favorite authors include Khaled Hosseini, Stephen King, Yasmina Khadra, Jari Tervo, J.R.R. Tolkien (read Children of Hurin, if you haven't!), Paulo Coelho, Brett Easton Ellis, and Bill Bryson.

Teach: anything about the Finnish culture, nature or history - I'm a fanatic when it comes to my own country - and I'm also a keen cook.
