About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living life to the fullest, learning how to truly love.
ABOUT ME
I love the world of people who travel. I love how down to earth, how aware they are, how adventurous and constantly thirsty for new life they are. I relate to being a traveler as a way of life: always paying attention, quick to adapt and adjust, eager to learn. I want to live in those ways even when I'm not on the road.
My goal in life is to be a storyteller, one that inspires and challenges people. I've worked in theater, film, and just began songwriting, all mediums of telling a story are dear to me. Let us share together!
PHILOSOPHY
Grateful for a Savior. Relationships are the most important thing in anyone's life. Beyond that, still learning!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I adore CS as both a surfer and as a host. I've had an amazing time traveling through Europe and the US, many of my favorite travel memories are those opened up to me by wonderful and warm hosts.
Since becoming a host myself I have also come to love that side, it's so invigorating to still be around travelers even when I cannot travel!
I think Couchsurfing is a brilliant, life-changing website, and I'm so happy to be a part of this beautiful community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My sister and I had delightful couchsurfing experiences while we travelled Europe last summer.
Highlights included a last-minute apartment in London (we contacted/stayed with the kind gentleman on the same day!), a delicous meal made for us in Wiesbaden Germany, and a beautiful country home in France.
Then, Couch Surfing allowed my sister and best friend and I to enjoy memorable nights in New Orleans, Austin, and other fantastic adventures throughout the south and south west.
Most recently hosts opened up to my two little brothers and I as we made our way from Nashville through the Wild West out to Las Vegas and Denver, via New Mexico and Arizona. Once again, fantastic and welcoming hosts allowed us to stretch our budget and see sights and make discoveries we never would have known!

Music, Movies, and Books
Nashville is the self-proclaimed music heart of the WORLD! Some of my local favorites include Judah and the Lion, Roots of a Rebellion, the Vespers, and Beards.
Always discovering wonderful new bands....staples are the Killers, Ingrid Michaelson, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, Regina Spektor, Alison Krauss, Jason Isbell, The Head and the Heart, and Kacey Musgraves.
Just finished a Parks and Recreation marathon and I'm in love. True Detective is the most unbelievable series I've ever seen. Other favorites are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sound of Music, Once, High Society, and anything by Cameron Crowe.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm 44 states through my goal to see every state by 25....it's gonna happen!!
This year I set out with only my two brothers, and we did it big...wandering throughout the South West and exploring big Vegas lights and wide Arizona deserts, managed our way into some beautiful Rocky mountain views and Boulder Colorado exploration before heading home!
Two years ago the best friend and sister and I couch-surfed/car-slept through the Deep South, falling in love with Savannah GA and New Orleans, LA on the way.
Three years ago enjoyed the classic Europe Backpacking adventure....highlight was sleeping on the shore of the Mediterranean in Nice. And discovered that magical Austria would provide the most amazing fairy tale cities.
Five years ago our family of six roadtripped across the United States in a red Ford Windstar named VanGo, a family of six driving for a month. Saw everything from the Hot Springs of Arkansas to the shooting geysers of Yellowstone, the handprints on Hollywood Blvd to the to the silent starry night in Kentucky. It was truly unforgettable!
Teach, Learn, Share
I work in film, I can tell you about what it's like on set. I also have some good celebrity stories haha. I'm passionate about what I do and study movies constantly in my free time. If you're interested in film at all, I'm thrilled to talk and tell about all sides of the business!
I'm a thrifting expert and also alter my own clothing, need any hems redone?
Have loved discovering fun local restaurants here in Nashville and love taking new people to them!
