ABOUT ME

I am open to experiencing everything that makes this grand 'ol world so grand, and meeting others to have a grand 'ol time with! I currently reside in a old stable house off the main strip in historic downtown Frederick. One hour from Baltimore and Washington DC, 4 hours from New York City, this little city has some beautiful nature close to the magic I found in Ireland and Brittany.

I moved here for my Masters in Thanatology (death, trauma, and bereavement counseling) without knowing a soul from Portland, Oregon and California, so I'm afraid my knowledge of the area is still limited. I spent most of my life working in the arts and entertainment, then became a teacher working with amazing young children! Since the entertainment business sucked most of my time, I finally finished my BA after being an Art Major turned Psychology & Anthropology major.

I'm sorry, my French is très rouillé, and even though I am Puerto Rican, my Spanish has significantly died since I was four. I'm working on it! J'adore music, art, folklore, mythology, britton celtic tradition, magic, natural environments, forests, and the sea!!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can provide as whimsical a place as possible within my resources. Music, Art, Nature, Consciousness, and Magic are of the greatest importance to me. There are places to wander around woods or town, roll some pasta, spend a night making art, or listening to murder mystery radio while making shadow puppets. I've a few instruments for the soul who finds joy sharing and creating~

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had splendid days in County Mayo in Ireland, some of the best times in my life. We listened and conversed about music and Celtic Magic, fantastic.

Interests

I spend my free time studying, singing, composing, drawing, painting, decking out my bicycles (you are free to use if you are here), hiking,hosting art parties or movie nights projected onto the wall screen, writing, dancing, playing, silver-smithing, gardening, cooking up fresh tasty organic foods, mead-making, making honey essence balms and tinctures, traveling, reading, trying new things, dreaming, all kinds of artsy crap, being in complete AWE of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite life experiences was traveling the saint jacques de compostelle also known as Camino de Santiago. Starting in Brittany trying to find a mark for the path on rocks, street signs, trees, whatever! until Spain. Allowing ones self to get lost, and know that if you follow and journey with intuition, direction, solitude, appreciation, lspiritual connection and guidance with the earth you will always find your way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been lucky to travel alot in my life and see many wonderful things and meet many amazing people! Mostly in Asia and Europe but I would love to see as much of the world as possible. I studied in India. Was raised with the Bodhisattva belief and schooled in Puttaparthi, Banaras and Bodh Gaya. I adored time in Spain and worked in vineyards and farms in Italy and France. Wwoof is a wonderful way to acquire skills and meet interesting individuals~
