Overview
About Me
Hi, my name is Theresa,
I'm in love with life, traveling and constantly expanding my knowledge and perspectives of the world.
St Jerome said: "Good, better, best. Never let it rest. 'Til your good is better and your better is best." This saying encompasses a firm belief of mine: to always broaden one's horizon in order to learn and expand into new areas or to evolve current skills. I am a believer in stellar growth through repeated little acts of kindness, respect and honesty to oneself and those around us.
Related to work I am passionate about #crm #marketingautomation #onlinemarketing #ecommerce and #businessprocesses. In my spare time I am a #globetrotter🌍, #epicurist🌞 and #optimist😊 and care about #traveling #collectinghappymoments🐷🍀 #hiking #wanderlust🏞#coffee☕ #family👨👩👧👦 #friends💃🕺🕴️ #fitness #healthyfood #design, #art💋 and #personaldevelopment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am going on a world trip from September 2022 to September 2023 and I wanna meet cool people from all over the world, experience your ways of living and then hopefully welcome many of you to Germany.
It's the lives we encounter that make life worth living // Es sind Begegnungen mit Menschen, die das Leben lebenswert machen // Son las personas que encontramos en el camino por las que vale la pena vivir.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to listen to audiobooks and some of my favorites are:
- The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck
- The Courage of Being Disliked
- Grit - the Power of Passion and Perserverance
- The High Five Habit
I also love to listen to music, the latest tunes on the radio, latin beats, some german stuff, jazz and classical once in a while...
Movies I also do like but there are no clear favorites. Just watching some once in a while. Not really a lot in front of a television anymore.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Having lived quite a couple of years abroad in the U.S., Australia for a year each and half a year in Ireland and Spain, I am certain it helped me evolve and get better at making my own decisions.
Also I did this transalp so crossing the Alps by foot from Tegernsee to Belluno with a very close friend. 350 km and 22000 high meters could not get us to stop walking. It's just such an experience to be outside in nature a lot and go beyond your own limits. You can do so much more than you think.💪🏞️🌄🌌
Teach, Learn, Share
Meaningful conversations about life, philosophy and stuff like that. Really like to think about what makes a good life and how to live it. Also would love to learn: what is on your bucket list and why?
What I Can Share with Hosts
The typical southern German way of life and what we are kind of known for. Technically I am trying to make people understand that Germany is not all Lederhosen, Dirndl, Bretzels and Oktoberfest, we have so many more areas and where I am originally from (Western part, Cologne) we have a great week of celebration in February / March for Karneval. People dress up and just celebrate for a week. It's fun.
