About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My last mission was retire by 30. I succeeded, and I do recommend that path, but it has become clear that not working is NOT the key to happiness. The key to happiness is to have great relationships (family, friends, and romantic) and to spend your time working on your purpose. So I am working on those missions now.

ABOUT ME

Extreme high-achieving nerd from Hawaii. Finished university with economics and law degrees and then spent two years as a professional poker player in Los Angeles.

I thought, "This is OK, but I'd rather work online so I can travel and live whenever and wherever I want."

I started a website in 2012 and moved to Argentina in early 2013.

I thought, "This is good, but I'd rather automate this work, so I can have all my time free to pursue my favorite things and enjoy my travels more."

I hired an employee, trained her to do all my work, and continued traveling around the world with a special emphasis on South America and Eastern Europe for a few years.

I thought "This is great, but I'd rather just sell the site, so I don't even have to manage things a few hours a week."

I sold the site and continue to travel from summer to summer to summer between South America and Eastern Europe with occasional side trips especially to Hawaii, SE Asia, and to go to major sporting events.

PHILOSOPHY

Be the person your niece thinks you are.
