About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am moving to Seoul from 2012 for two years - learning Korean
ABOUT ME
I really enjoy meeting with and learning from different people.
PHILOSOPHY
When I am travelling I am lot more into learning about small communities, personal stories from the local people rather than visiting busy touristy sites. Not much laying on the beach for me;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When you live in different countries the most important is building up a good social life. This website is an amazing tool to find good ppl around!
I got to know CS before I started cycling in Central America, I just had incredibly amazing experience surfing around with CS. From 2012 I am hosting ppl in Seoul.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Amazing! The very best way of travelling and to meet ppl or to get to know the real culture.
I also try to spread around the Hungarian cousin and culture. When I travelling in Central America I had this on my profile:
"Always have some special paprika spice on me and ready to cook any Hungarian dish for you guys."
Interests
Learning languages (Spanish, Korean, keep improving English), getting to know different cultures, random events - rambling around without fix plan or just simply getting lost
cycling, diving, sailing, skiing, hiking, international food, live music, theatre... whatever
I really like to see people smiling and also when they make me smile:)

Music, Movies, and Books
Keyes: Flowers for Algernon, Baricco: Silk, Márai: Gyertyák csonking égnek...
Depeche Mode, Kid loco, Manu Chao, live jazz with a beer... and recently: Juanes, Jarabe de Pablo...whatever comes but a local band in live have a great chance to beat everything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think giving up the regular, safe life just to live my dream was something crazy.
I was living in London had a good and secure job. In 2010 I gave up my job to spend a year with learning Spanish. After spending 4 months learning the basics in Hungary I cycled from Mexico City to Xela in Guatemala for 3 months using only CS and my tent carried on my bike. Not a single hostel night or anything pre-organised rather than CS. I asked random ppl on the street for shelter and they gave me all that they had - I love them.
In Guate I found the place Xela. The best place if you thought on improving your Spanish. Having spent 4 months hard core studying I reached a level of fluency. I had not a single penny so I started looking for a job according to my plan in Latin America.
Did not work out... So the wind blows me to Seoul, South Korea.
