Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's in the spirit of sharing economy which I profoundly believe in.
Because it's just awesome to meet amazing characters from all over the world as we did, both hosting in Poland, Australia, Macedonia and being hosted in a dozen countries or more!

Interests

Oh boy... so let's get started with some of the most important things in my life:

1.COOKING!
I think that if someone doesn't like cooking - he or she is insane! Come on! You are going to eat 3 times a day (on average) for the rest of your life if you like it or not! So it is just a waste of great fun to left all that cooking for someone else!
I love cooking and eating, tasting new cuisines and making up new dishes and combinations of tastes, smells, consistencies and textures!
If it comes to food I'am addicted to:
- cheese (all kinds! Manchego cheese is my latest love but still faithfull to Italian Parmigiano, Grana Padano, Mozzarellas, Pecorinos and Gorgonzolas! And I have another love named Cheddar. ;)
- Jalapeno - every type of hot pepper is ok: chilli, habanero, pepperoncino, birds-eye, etc. but Jalapeno is just something more to me :D
- any kind of spices, especially turmeric, ginger, sea salt, black pepper, tamarind
- herbs - almost any! I use them also to heal myself and for me it somehow works better than regular medicines. Doctors still don't know why exactly is that.
- tea - white, Japanese tea rulez! I'd love to learn sadō - Japanese tea ceremony
- sushi - nigiri sushi rulez! raw fish rulez!
- sea-food - Montenegrin "Punjene lignje na zaru" (stuffed squid from grill) is perfect. "Rissotto negro" as well!
- good alcohol - but for its taste not for effects :P I love good beer (Asahi and most of Czech beer), wine (Bulgarian and Portuguese are my favorite from the Old World, California and Barossa Valley, Australia for the New World), Balkan Rakija, real rum! etc. And I use them for cooking too (sometimes setting what I'm cooking on fire, hehe of course with intention - it's called "Flambé")
- ok it's pointless - I often say to my friends: "If you don't like some kind of food it's just because you haven't eaten it well prepared yet!" so I basically love any good food... it's really impossible to write it all down :D so I will just stop.

2.SELF DEVELOPMENT
I think that this is the only way to live your life and not to regret it! It is a way to be more self-aware. And if you are more self-aware - you are able to make decisions more intentionally and knowingly. And if your decisions are intentional - you are the only one to blame for your misery. So if you're the person who fucked up your life - you can also change it! And it's really like that and it's really simple! And fun of course! :D

Recently I focus on some of the latest research suggestions from neuroscience, psychology of greatness (seriously it's 2015 and we don't have a better name?!) and some of the old schools of thought which turn out to be surprisingly relevant in modern day societies! So:
- Stoicism
- Mindfulness
- Meditation (scientific, Harvard and Princeton confirmed stuff and NOT the semi-religious bullshit (which apparently works as well if you can believe and listen to it.)) + premeditation, contemplation, journaling (all the things stoics recommended with a healthy dose of questioning everything ;) )
- Completely addicted to The Tim Ferriss Show series of podcasts with some of the most amazing people living now! Including: Peter Thiel, Chriss Sacca, Mike Shinoda, Matt Mullenwag, and many, many more!

And now is the time for the rest of my spare-time devourers:
Artistic:
- Composing music
- Computer graphics (although it's sometimes necessity)
- Pencil sketches (I don't know why but I love them!)
I like art, especially Leonardo Da Vinci (but he sketched a lot too so... :D), Kandinsky, Dali, Guetta (:D).
I like photography - Yann Arthus Bertrand - pure genius
I like modern forms of artistic expression - Lex Drewinski, Banksy, David Czerny - google them up!!!
I like Nymann, Glass, Bach and Behemoth :P MEG MYERS, Susie Suh, lately chillstep, old KoRn, Disturbed, Asaf Avidan, many, many other…

Silicon Valley (!), Blacklist, Suits, Boston Legal, Family Guy (!), Modern Family, House MD, Friends, Gotham, Warehouse 13, Eureka, Ergo Proxy (!), Nausicaa of the valley of the wind (!), Elfen Lied (!)...

Social and other stuff:
I am collecting jokes! :D I also like knowing how things work. Psychology, sociology, economics, marketing, public relations and why 2% of people is earning 96% of money earned?! And why they are not sharing?!

I play the guitar, write songs although NEVER sing them :D but that's good this way - believe me :D

I'm also interested in avoiding death but some might tell you otherwise. Don't listen. I swear I'm into it!

Oh and I like writing things, novels, essays, etc. but I haven't wrote anything for a long time, and that is probably why this section is so long and probably boring.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived my life with all amazing ups and downs. Surviving some of the downs was pretty epic, as some of the ups too when I think of it. Building an amazing relationship with my beloved girlfriend of 11 years now! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Everything I know and I have a way with. I wish that it would be more than it is now, but I'm working on it.
I can teach you how to cook, play the guitar, hehehe decapitate others with a medieval long sword, something about building businesses, advertising, PR, marketing and other stuff. I can teach you how to tell stories and how to listen to them. How to see, hear, smell, feel and experience more.

I'd be more than happy if you could teach me how to cook your countries characteristic dish or your favorite food. I'd like to learn Japanese tea ceremony, Japanese language and calligraphy, and most of all - Japanese patience and serenity. I'd like to learn to fly and dive. I dream about swimming with dolphins... but I can't swim, yet. :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

- Why EVERY SINGLE really successful AND happy person will tell you that SLOW DOWN is the most important two words in Life
- My seemingly endless sources of good mood
- My living space
- My breakfast, lunch and dinner :)
- My love of Life :)
