ABOUT ME

I am 47yrs old.I spent my 20's backpacking and travelling and have been desperate to return to that philosophy even though opportunities are now more limited. I relied upon the kindness of strangers then and hope to reciprocate now. I always need at least a portion of the day to myself but now would love some company in the evenings for socialising and seeing a different side to a new place, and for help in living the local lifestyle. I do love to dance and like live music.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can occasionally offer a couch and normally have only a week or so to discover new places for myself. Although, I can also grab the odd long weekend.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had some wonderful people surfing our couch, we are bringing the world to our door.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Driving through the scottish highlands when I was 30 and realising that prehistory, magnificence and awe inspiring beauty had been on my doorstep my whole life and I had never bothered to look.
The Forth Rail Bridge makes me catch my breath to this day.
I have also stood next to Michael Franti -awesome!

If it isn't anywhere else, it's in the obvious place.
Everyone has their reasons.
I can teach the rudiments of juggling and give you strategies to help friends with low self confidence.
I'd like someone to be able to enthuse me with cooking skills. I currently have no interest and I think it hampers me somewhat, or the chance to practise my spanish which is rapidly turning woeful.
