About Me
ABOUT ME
Writing about myself is a horrible task to have to do, but I guess I would say I'm fun, easy and out going which I guess you have to be if you are going to either host or surf. I can usually find something in common with whoever I meet. I am very sociable and enjoy a good beer and a laugh. I'm very energetic and keeping myself active. I am clean and tidy and don't snore. I also love the outdoors and for the last few years I've been living in Cornwall, (my favorite place). I am also extremely patient and would say my parents brought me up with a good set of morals and to be a loving and caring.
I'm currently working for a charity called the Wave Project.
PHILOSOPHY
Live for the moment, don't take things to seriously, don't judge people on first impressions and be forgiving
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I have only couch surfed in Ireland on a work experience placement which I turned into a surf trip up and down the west coast. It was awesome and I was blown away by peoples kindness towards me everywhere I went. I have nothing to compare it to at the moment so it was hard to tell if it was a reflection of the CS community or the Irish but I'm guessing both.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When it comes to couch surfing I am like an inexperienced virgin but I am keen to get out and visit some amazing people and places!
Interests
I have tended to find travelling, partying and surfing seem to be a good combination although I am quite happy exploring new hobbies. I love sport and the outdoors and have tried most outdoor sports but have hurt myself so many times so at the moment I am just sticking to surfing as it is kinder on the body than most other physical activities.
I never thought I would say this but the degree in education studies has also really interested me and although the whole student lifestyle is great I maybe in danger of becoming a geek as nowadays I will often sacrifice a night out for a night of work. As a child I also loved bird watching and that is something I will always secretly be doing when ever I am outdoors. I also love music and although I have never played an instrument I appreciate just about any genre of music. I am getting into photography and always take my camera with me if I'm going any distance.
At school Art was always my best and favorite subject but I never seem to have the time for it anymore. Working at Rick Stiens restaurants for two years also increased my interest in eating food and cooking it. I also love cycling and walking

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On my travels I have surfed waves with dolphins, handled the worlds second most venomous snake in the wild and two minutes later survived a rock fall, been chased by a wild wort hog, Saw the big 5 on safari in one day, surfed a few world class waves, sky dived, bungee jumped and white water rafted down a 7 meter waterfall and been free diving with reef sharks. Spent an evening chilling out with just my mates and Howard Marks. Surfed with, played and stroked Dusty the dolphin for hours in Ireland
