Hi! My name is Tia, and I am traveling after I finish my time studying abroad in Australia. I'm a 22 year old F and will graduate in late June with my undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences and nonprofit administration. I love the outdoors, hiking, backpacking, and cross country and alpine skiing. I enjoy making good food - am mostly vegetarian, and love beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard New Zealand is a great place, and I would love to get to know some locals and learn about some of their favorite places. I also would love to host visitors in the future, as my hometown is worth sharing. I will also be at the end of my travels, and am just about to graduate from University, so financially it is definitely a plus.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a 150 miles, 18 day off trail backpacking trip in the Sierra Nevadas, CA. It was spectacular and ensured my love for being in the mountains.

I would love to cook a meal for my hosts! I make a mean
