About Me
ABOUT ME
Note: I can only host on weekends. Some weekends are unavailable, but shoot me a message and we will see what we can work out!
I'm an easy-going person. I love being happy and making others happy. I'm stuck in an office job 8-5 Monday through Friday, but they give me just enough paid days off a year to make a trip or two across the country. I work at a local music venue called Track 29 some nights throughout the week. When I'm home I'm usually with my dog or friends, drinking a beer and sharing stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I want to travel. I want to help others travel. I want to make friends, learn new things, hear stories, meet interesting people, try new food. I'm on couch surfing the same reason you're all on couch surfing: for an experience you can't get staying in a hotel.
Interests
I enjoy being outside, preferably something with my dog. Hiking, kayaking, anything that includes the sunshine. I can talk about nearly anything if prompted, though I hold a special place in my heart for politics and religion (though we don't have to discuss these topics if you're uncomfortable). I'm an avid reader, I adore shopping. Craft beer and wine are two of my favorite things in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I will read, watch, and listen to just about anything once.
I lean towards rock on most occasions, but I'm also a fan of classical, rap, alternative and ambient. I don't care much for country music - but put on some southern rock and I'll definitely be singing along.
I've read a lot of books. I'm currently reading a sci-fi trilogy by Peter F. Hamilton called The Reality Dysfunction. If you're into overarching commentaries on religion, check it out.
And movies? Well, I'm still working on that. There's a lot to name and a lot I haven't seen.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My sweet puppy, Achilles, who you will fall in love with immediately. He's the most well mannered dog - my best friend and my travel partner.
