Overview
About Me
I was born in New York to Brazilian parents and spent my first twenty years moving between the US and Brazil, as well as spending 8 years in the Grand Cayman Islands.
After college, I moved to Nicaragua to volunteer as a photography and reading instructor in the isolated and rural archipelago of Solentiname. I managed to organize a series of exhibits of pictures taken in the workshops by local kids and teens and, in 2014, publish a photography book with some of their best images.
I enjoy challenging conversations and would much prefer a laid back evening with a few people to an alcohol-fueled night at a club.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm going to be traveling to Italy as well as India during November and December 2015 and finally thought this could be my opportunity to try couchsurfing, meet some interesting people and save a few bucks...

Live in the archipelago of Solentiname, Nicaragua for a year and a half "teaching" photography to the local youth.
