About Me
Hey there!!
My name is Tiago, and I'm living my dream of traveling the world. For me, travel is all about meeting local people and fellow travelers, exchanging experiences, and learning something new every day about places vastly different from what I call home.
That's why I'm here – to learn and share experiences. Knowledge not shared is knowledge wasted.
My journey began in Africa and the Middle East, traveling overland from Cape Town to Amman. The second leg took me through Asia, starting with Southeast Asia, then South and Central Asia.
Later on, I hitchhiked through Eastern Europe, landing in Italy and making my way to Georgia. Currently, I'm exploring South America.
Note: Some people asked me why I've never hosted. When I joined CS, I lived in a non-touristy area and never received any requests. However, I look forward to finishing my travels and starting to host too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is the best way to travel!
It gives us the opportunity to meet locals, exchange knowledge, culture, and experiences, share laughs, and truly get to know places and people you would never encounter while staying in a hotel.
Once I'm settled again, I'd love to host guests and introduce them to my family and friends!
Interests
Going for a hike, discovering new places, and sometimes just taking a deep breath while enjoying a good view.
I love camping and have all my camping gear with me, always ready to set up camp wherever I go.
