CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
Natural born self-exiled, i guess. I am a writer, a translator of books and I made a documentary about family stories. I've always missed the road, living in other countries and encountering cultures. Just spent 4 months in Thailand, and I'm heading to Europe. Let's see where the road takes me.
PHILOSOPHY
Seek life's poetry and do what you do best. Trust the road. Smile, but be sincere. Learn and teach. Try to help. Be happy. Join, gather, love.
Or, as Foster Wallace once said: "The really important kind of freedom involves attention and awareness and discipline, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them over and over in myriad petty, unsexy ways every day. That is real freedom. That is being educated, and understanding how to think. The alternative is unconsciousness, the default setting, the rat race, the constant gnawing." sense of having had, and lost, some infinite thing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests
I love dancing, eating, languages I don't know. I love daydreaming. Unknown cities. I love the breeze over bridges. Getting lost. I love books and notebooks. Talking nonsense and discussing opinions. Just talk, good talk. Cooking. Music, life stories, photography, movies, history, literature. And bicycles and cities, languages. Recently: meditating. Actually I have many interests, and sometimes it's a problem.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. 32 days, from France to Galicia. 800 kilometers by foot. Just did a 10 days meditation experience (imagine 10 days without internet or mobile or talking, it gets you crazy but at the end it's amazing). Living an year in Buenos Aires was amazing. Spending four months in Thailand was amazing.
