I'm a portuguese gentleman addicted to travelling, passionate about photography, open minded and eager to meet new people from all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

A beautiful smile is contagious, I'm trying to make my journey through this world the best possible. This sentence taken from the book The Snow Leopard, by Peter Matthiessen, sums it up:

"The absurdity of a life that may well end before one understands it does not relive one of the duty to live it through as bravely and as generously as possible"

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a couch, but I'm happy to hang around Lisbon, showing people some of my favorite places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed in the Philippines, staying at the amazing Cebu's Hobbit House and had a great experience doing it... so much more fun than any hotel or guesthouse. I'm looking forward to do it again in other countries.

Intereses

Getting sweaty at the gym (boxing, TRX, weights, Yoga, Shorinji Kempo), running, diving, reading, collecting vinyl records, playing some guitar chords, watching movies and the last but not least...smashing dance floors all over the world!

Música, películas y libros

Movies: A Clockwork Orange, Blade runner, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction... so many good ones :)
Books: travel literature and classics mainly. I'm reading The Geography of Bliss at the moment.
Music: I'm a vinyl collector and really love music... lots and a lots of it... from classics, like Dylan, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Beatles to recent stuff like Queens of the Stone Age, Fiona Apple...

Skydiving, diving with sharks in Malapascua (Philippines) and with manta rays and other amazing creatures in Komodo National Park (Indonesia), seeing Angkor Wat's (Cambodia) sunrise and Bagan's (Myanmar) sunset, riding on top of a Jeepney in Banaue, Trekking Anapurna Base Camp and Everest Base Camp (Nepal), seeing the Taj Mahal...
