CURRENT MISSION
Searching for the cure for wanderlust
ABOUT ME
I am an outgoing person, although I do like to listen to people talk. I'm kind of quirky and have a bit of an excitable personality. I also, however, really enjoy my alone time and straight to the bone conversations with good people. I thrive off learning about new experiences. I am from the country, and I have moved around a bit ever since. I love the outdoors, especially the woods or an empty beach. Currently I am going to school in Philadelphia, but I plan on transfering soon for film studies and eventually getting my masters and Phd in contemporary art history. I have always been a firm believer in peoples right to be happy, and I am a member and strong supporter of the lgbtq community.
PHILOSOPHY
Like I said earlier. I live and prosper through the people I meet everyday. For every person who teaches you something new, there is another person out there looking for exactly what you just found. We as people should share our strengths, not use them against each other.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love people. I love the entire process of the human condition. I feel like with every person you connect with you find out a little more about yourself. So therefore, this is perfect right? True connections are underrated anymore. I am looking to work more in the non profit sect to build connects through art, expression, and general friendliness with the down-and-out people in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've done a lot of couch surfing in the lower Pennsylvania/upper Maryland area. I have also done quite a bit of hosting here in Philadelphia.
Interests
I love listening to all kinds of music and going to festivals and shows. I love to read, it is the bee's knees. I am an artist, my favorite mediums are charcoal and painting. Hiking is pretty spiffy, I have been doing it since I was a kid, and I am kinda a movie buff. I am also in a loving relationship with all things fashion, and I have a super fun job as a freelance fashion writer for various companies such as Urban Outfitters and Free People. If there is something you like that isn't on here feel free to tell me. I'm always up for new adventures.
