About Me
My favourite quote is, "kindness is a language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see."
It's always a bit difficult to describe yourself to strangers, isn't it?
I think I am a happy person, I have no trouble laughing at myself and keeping myself entertained. I like to think I am conscious of those around me and my impact. I am open-minded, friendly and caring.
I also consider myself an extroverted-introvert, I enjoy organising social events, etc but I also need quiet time to reflect, dream and create.
I was first inspired to "solo" travel by a high school friend and that experience as well as the people who I have interacted since then have completely changed my life forever, in the best way possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, have cultural exchanges and hopefully share some cool experiences together.
As a local: be a guide or a friendly face to a visitor and hopefully make their trip more enjoyable. (I don't currently have my own place to offer to host).
As a surfer: a cool way to get integrated into the place I'm visiting, even for the short while I'm there. I'm pretty easy-going and respectful of people's time, as much and as little as you have to share with me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite music....I've adopted a new appreciation of Soca (music from my country Trinidad and Tobago).
But I do enjoy lots others, we may have some favourite songs in common.
Movies: I love action, comedy, drama, thrillers, some romance. I try to stay away from horrors.
Books, I tend to read more non-fiction books but I do have trouble finishing books as I jump from one to another.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Left my country on a one-way ticket as an au pair for initially three months, returned 3 years later.
Rode of the back of a 125cc scooter from Girona, Spain to Switzerland.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can share a bit of my culture, maybe some home-cooked dishes, I'm really not the best cook, and it takes me ages but with proper planning, I'm absolutely up for it! If you’re interested. Music also, but I do get carried away, so I will keep it to a 3 song maximum unless you really enjoy what you hear. I can also help with your English if you need.
Learn: I’m a pretty curious person I also love to learn new things. I believe everyone has something valuable to teach, and I’m eager to soak up whatever knowledge or skills you’re willing to share.
Share: Laughs. Memories. Experiences. Stories.
