I am a teacher from Canada. I enjoy being outdoors, being active and trying new things. I like to explore new places, try new food, cook, meet new people, and learn more about other cultures/countries. Over the past 10 years, I've done quite a bit of travelling. I've lived in Canada, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Japan, the Netherlands, Botswana, and now the Czech Republic. I've been lucky to have many wonderful experiences, some of which were thanks to Couchsurfing. I'm a vegetarian and I'm passionate about living sustainably. I am looking forward to meeting new people here in Prague and exploring new places outside the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet great people and experience a country and culture beyond the tourist attractions in the guidebooks. I think the best way to really get to know a place is through the locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve worked/volunteered as a teacher in 9 countries which has been an invaluable experience. The kids have taught me so much about life, the world, and myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

English practice (for anyone learning the language). I'm learning Dutch. I can share stories from my travels and being an educator in different parts of the world. I love to cook vegetarian food and bake.
