ABOUT ME

I'm warm, gregarious, open-minded, free-spirited, smart, artistic, and eclectic.

I sing opera and perform burlesque.

I also have online businesses.

I've been in Buenos Aires most of 2011. I'm visiting Brazil, then I'm am going back to NYC and Montreal for a few months. I don't know what's next!
I'd like to go someplace warm in January and move to Berlin in Spring 2012.

Living with me, I'm clean and nice and neat and quiet.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a lot of people in Montreal.
I've surfed a few times... but I'm generally afraid to impose too much on people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my best friends in college was Japanese. She brought me on a 2-week tour of Japan. We stayed at her parents' and grandparents' houses, and a few hostels.
Staying with her family, I learned so much more about Japanese culture than I would have at a hostel.
I also got a chance to celebrate the Bon Festival with her family... I was the only Caucasian in their small town! It was authentic and amazing!
