My future husband Jessi & I have been on the road since early October! We’ve spent the first 3.5 months in SE Asia! We are headed to Turkey mid-January and then through Europe February-mid April. We’d love to meet you!

ABOUT ME
Unfortunately I forgot to turn off my profile the last time I deleted the couch surfing app! At the time I was unable to host for more than a year, then Covid happened! I’m so sorry if you requested me and I never replied. I am back from a 6 year hiatus on this awesome app! I will be accepting guests when I’m back home in Canada come August 2023.

A chilled out, laid back couple that likes to hang! We’re dreamers, down to earth lovers and passionate about connections and people. We love conversation, long walks, good food, a nice joint or a cold beer. We love meeting new people from all places and cultures! Sharing traditions, learning and trying is where you can find us. We love drinking coffee and EATING. Trying new foods is our happy place. We love immersive and busy days, but also like hanging out and looking around. Find us at the park on the grass, with our portable speaker!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing is the easier way to live like a local! Being a tourist is cool, but living like a local is better. I've been lucky enough to meet some great people through couchsurfing so far in Iceland, Germany, and Holland.
I was lucky enough to host 3x while living in Saskatchewan, Canada. When I’m back on Canadian soil, I’d love to host you!

Interests

We love being ourselves! Some days it’s a busy and bustin day of walking 16+km, other days we like to lay in the grass all day listening to music. One thing we always love is FOOD. Indian food is one of our favourites, but we will try almost anything! We like to listen to live music. We aren’t party or clubbing people by any stretch, but appreciate a good glass of wine or a couple beers while playing cards or watching sports. Kitchen dance parties, or dinner teas — we love them all!

Quitting 3 jobs to travel the world with my best friend! (March 2015)

Cliff Jumping 80 ft, at Horseshoe Lake, Jasper, Alberta Canada. (August 2012)

Rented ATV's and covered the whole island of Santorini, ending with one of the most beautiful sunsets .. Ever. (April 2015.)

Attended a personal development program in Calgary, Alberta through my company at the time, lululemon. Learnt so much about myself. (2016)

Treeplanted in Canada 3 summers! Met Jessi - my love & future husband! (2017-2019)

Sold all my belongings(2nd time) and solo travelled to SE Asia for 8 months, volunteering abroad at an English school in Vietnam, a hostel in Cambodia and a resort in Malaysia (2017-2018)

Moved across Canada: Saskatchewan-Ontario (2019)

Survived a PANDEMIC (2020)

Got the coolest pet cat you could ever meet! Jackson 🐱 (2020)

Sold all my belongings for the 3rd time in my life — left Canada with Jessi. Travelled Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Cambodia together so far. Heading to Turkey mid January, then to Europe from Feb-mid April! (2022-2023)

We can offer so many stories of travels, Canadian culture, and usually a good laugh! We can share our experiences of tree planting in rural mountain areas of British Colombia Canada! How to make a good vodka Caesar, and a rockin poutine. Our backpacking adventures of SE Asia, and much more:) just ask!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good stories, my favourite recipes and cocktails. We can teach you how to make a vodka Caesar! Jess can roll the perfect joint. Ti can create a good workout routine. We can share new music, show you heaps of photos of our cat!
