ABOUT ME

I started couchsurfing in 2010 when I was backpacking in Spain with my sister. A great experience!!
I love traveling. I feel very lucky because I have had the chance to travel to South Africa, Namibia, Australia, New Zealand, Brasil, Indonesia, Singapore, Dubai, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands,...
In 2013 I gave up my teaching job in Germany to start a trip around the world together with my boyfriend. We were in Australia for more than 1 year, in New Zealand for 1 year and in some Asian places for a while. We then went to the South Pacific to explore Fiji and Tonga. We love the lifestyle of exploring new places all the time! Later we moved to Canada for 1 year.
Since last year, we have been living in Spain and I love the Spanish lifestyle!

PHILOSOPHY

Love life, explore the world and be happy!
This can mean a trip around the world, a good cup of coffee in the morning, reading a book in a lonely forest, sunbathing at the beach, a bike ride, surfing,... I want to enjoy every moment and every detail life has to offer.

I have had the chance to do couchsurfing in a lot of places and I got to know some cool people! It's the best way to see a place/country through their people's eyes.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

House of Cards, The Good Wife, Suits, Downton Abbey, Mad Men.... I love watching series! I usually don´t spend too much time inside, but a good movie or book is always great. I like biography and history novels, comedies, action movies and dramas.
Music? A must! Pop, rock, indie-rock, dance, reggae, RnB, gospel, jazz, nearly everything!

Iguazu in Argentinia/Brazil, Beaches in Bali, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, rain forest in Tasmania, the deserts in Egypt and Namibia, 4 wheel driving in the desert, snorkeling, sailing trip on the Whitsunday Islands, world cup 2006 in Germany, Riga (Latvia), sleeping under the stars, a 4 wheel drive tour on Fraser Island...
