About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find a CSer travelling through Winnipeg

ABOUT ME

I am very outgoing and always up to try new things. I love food, I love music, sport and dancing, and I love learning about new places, people, and things. I never really know what to say about myself when someone asks me except that I am a social chameleon and a social butterfly!

PHILOSOPHY

Tomorrow is nobody's day...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a few times now and participated in some of the group activities in Bordeaux. When I get back home to Canada I am going to start hosting and joining groups out there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have officially had my first two experiences in Spain and I have no words other than awe and appreciation for the people who opened their doors to me and the CS world in general! How fantastic.

Interests

Food - loves it. Movies, pop culture, reading, listening, people watching, absorbing, teaching, acting, dancing, life. I want to try some extreme sports soon, I want to live in a city not just travel through it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: just saw fight club for the first time! It reminded me of how I felt about V for Vendetta the first time around. I was not sure if I liked it but I think I did.

Books: hands down The Giver is my favorite book. But I love reading in general

Music: anything that carries a beat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have you ever tried picking a mango straight off of the tree in Nigeria then cutting it open and squeezing the juice out until your hands and face are completely covered in stickiness? Amazing. I don't know if I was supposed to write something more extreme but that was such a good experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

Other than being a pretty solid teacher of English, I am also extremely skilled in resume writing in a Canadian context, as odd as that may sound. I also want to learn at least 5 more languages and about living in places across the world. I want to share what I have learned and learn what others have to share.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Nigeria, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
