ABOUT ME

Born in 1975 in Thunder Bay (of all places) from Belgian parents. Grew up mostly in Belgium. After high-school,I have lived in various countries in North-America and Africa but decided 7 years ago to "settle-down" again in Belgium, my "homeland"... I keep traveling a lot though.
I have my own place in Brussels and host regularly.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I created this profile back in 2008 but I was sharing a place at the time and not able to host... then I got my own place and a great couch (more like a real bed in fact), and I was happy to start hosting regularly.
Now I share a place again so it's less often but still happy to host from time to time

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

even before the internet existed, I guess I "couch-surfed" .. I just did not know it was called that way ;-)
with my job and all, I have less opportunities to travel around for long periods of time so this website helps me helping other people.

兴趣

I'm a very sociable person and enjoy meeting friends, helping lost tourists in the streets, getting to know people I have absolutely nothing in common with, etc. But I also enjoy quiet evenings at home.
Traveling takes a big part of my free time (and my budget). When in Belgium, I swim as often as possible and play water polo.
