We met while on an extended backpacking adventure. We've both had multiple amazing experiences (mostly spontaneous) when couch-surfing with folks along that trip, and were always astounded and grateful to these strangers who constantly welcomed us into their homes. It's good karma, and time to give some back.

If you're traveling, and need a place to crash, we'd be happy to host.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just got back from sea-kayaking in the Kenai Fjords & seeing some glaciers & bergy-bits up close. It was freakin awesome!

Other fun adventures: Biking across the USA (Atlantic to Pacific) in 2008, and backpacking the entire Appalachian Trail in 2003
