Work at an educational agent to promote great opportunity for Vietnamese students to study abroad. It is interesting to meet and share the big dream with other young people by giving specific advice for studying and working overseas.
My greatest achievement is to hunt and support a 100% scholarship for a passionate Vietnamese girl to full-fill her study in UK.

Gain further business experience in running the office.

Live my passions and dreams of building a ONE LOCAL STOP for travellers: opening a Cafe, Hostel, or Lifestyle shops.

ABOUT ME

Hi guys, thanks for looking over at my profile :)

My true name is quite long Le Hoang Lan Huong, but I love to be called Tien. I was borned in Nha Trang, Vietnam; but my parent's home land is actually in Nghe An, Vietnam. That is a good combination as I have learnt different customs and appreciated every bits of my country. I am an outgoing, energetic, and happy person who indeed loves everything around me :) When I was 17, I decided to open my eyes and minds to the world by taking studying courses in Australia. I was there for 6 years. In August 2013, I decided to move back to Vietnam so I took a backpacking trip around Australia before heading home. I had a wonderful time in Perth for Xmas, Singapore for New Year and Nha Trang for Chinese New Year.

Now I am pretty much settling in Ho Chi Minh City and working as a full-time Education Counsellor, giving advice and hunt scholarships for Vietnamese youngster to full fill their dream to study overseas.

Joining Couchsurfing is one great way for me to meet travellers and share your travelling stories all over the world. It will also remind me to keep travelling :)

TRAVEL TO MY HOMETOWN-NHA TRANG, VIETNAM

Why not to travel to Nha Trang, Vietnam? I met a couple of friends who skip Nha Trang city during their time in Vietnam because the reputation of a kind of Russian town. Not correct. Nha Trang is a popular destination for Russian tourists, but it does not mean we only host Russian. Yes, every shop/ restaurant you go to, you might get annoyed with the 3 language menu (Vietnamese, English and Russian) or even the shop receptionists greet you in Russian. But friends, seriously we are so proud to be a Nha-Trang-er and there are so much to offer from Nha Trang City, one of the most beautiful bays in the world. My friend, Morg coming from Poland decides to stay in Nha Trang as long as he can as Nha Trang is the only place in Vietnam having the least raining condition. In probably 100 years around, we barely suffer from any kind of tsunami, which says how much safe and enjoyable the beach can be for tourists. Also we have our unique custom of Cham people and Kinh people which is show cased in different events, traditional practises. Not to mention, there is a great reef in Nha Trang where you can snorkel and discover the diversed maritime system. Seafood is fresh and cheap, partying is thrown here and there across a variety of clubs and pubs and even hot mud bath is super popular here... So I reckon, the Russian knows where to enjoy their vacation and they pick Nha Trang for many reasons. And you, skip Nha Trang because one small reason. Is it worth it?

But I love to hang out with people travelling to Ho Chi Minh or living in Ho Chi Minh. The more, the merrier and I believe Life is all about the experience with other people. I like to keep it going.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I am a full-time worker so I don't have much time in spending out with you during the weekday, except doing dinner and checking out local stores.

For the weekend, I reckon we can do short trip to further northern of Vietnam with backpacking trip. Or we can jump into the train and go swimming in my hometown Nha Trang :)
