Overview
About Me
Tiffani is a laid back, down to earth, out going California girl who has a hard time writing about herself. She can assure you that she loves anything that has to do with nature, or being outdoors. Give her a surfboard and some waves and she will love you forever. She likes activism and supporting what is right for society as a whole, perhaps a natural born humanitarian. She loves traveling and immersing herself with other cultures, studying languages, and cultural traditions. She has a passion for holistic medicine, theater, film, photography, art, music, pretty much anything artsy.. If you buy her sheep cheese or goat yogurt she won't hesitate to eat it whole in one sitting. She also thinks talking in third person is odd. I... like good music, funk, folk, old hip hop, jazz, classical, classic rock, music. I play my ukulele poorly and love to sing. She is currently studying Botany in Santa Cruz California!
P.S. I don't think it's necessary to pay yearly to be verified as I don't often use Couchsurfing. I am often hooked up between my friends, or their friends! When I travel extensively and aren't in places where I know loads of people, most likely I will then use Couchsurfing more frequently and become verified. 👌
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Offering fellow avelers a safe, comfortable, cool place to visit and stay! (In the future when I am more settled I will be accepting guests. )
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Truth be told, I don't use it often because I tend to always know somebody where I am going, or somebody has a friend. The time(s) I did use it though was great!!! I hope in the future I can incorporate it more into my mode of travel and meeting good people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tiffani; I think spending time in the jungle in Palenque outside of the Mayan ruins during 2012 was amazing. Riding camels through the Sahara and sleeping in the sand under a full moon. Learning to surf in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, hitchhiking from Guatemala to Mexico for fun with a group of friends, living on a nude beach for a few years, helping my small Mexican town clean up after a serious hurricane, traveling so far...
Teach, Learn, Share
(The Paradox of our Time)
We have bigger houses but smaller families;
more conveniences, but less time;
We have more degrees, but less sense;
more knowledge, but less judgement;
more experts, but more problems;
more medicines, but less healthiness;
We've been all the way to the moon and back,
but have trouble crossing the street to meet
the new neighbor.
We've built more computers to hold more
information to produce more copies than ever,
but have less communications;
We have become long on quantity,
but short on quality.
These times are times of fast foods;
but slow digestion;
Tall man but short character;
Steep profits but shallow relationships.
It is time when there is much in the window,
but nothing in the room.
(H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama)
