I'm originally from Southeast Alaska!! No, not in an igloo. Haha you'd be amazed at the questions I get asked, but thats okay because I enjoy a good laugh! I've been living more recently in Washington and Oregon, until I packed up and moved to Thailand in July 2021 on a year long program at a University in Bangkok. It was so amazing, and allowed me to travel and meet people during covid which I am really fortunate to have been able to do. I studied International Business and Entrepreneurship, and just completed my BBA - and now I look forward to starting my Masters in Hamburg Germany next fall! I'm really a nerd when it comes to school, and well, a lot of things. I just really love to learn, anything and everything! I love traveling because the world is the biggest classroom. My eyes and heart have opened so much since I started on my journey; it truly feels as though my life before was empty and not mine at all.

I like meeting new people, especially locals, and seeing what its actually like living in the country/city that I'm visiting as well as learning as much as I can.

Interests

I am a huge travel and adventure enthusiast. To me, there's nothing more fun and fulfilling then meeting people from around the world, with different life stories to tell. I find language, food, dress style, and everything that makes up culture to be so fascinating.

When I'm home, I like to cook and bake a lot. I find it a fun task to make things as healthy yet delicious as possible. I am vegan/vegetarian as well.

I spend a lot of my time outdoors, as I love exploring new areas, being in nature, and sports. While traveling, I have enjoyed hiking and scuba diving. Growing up I played sports such as volleyball, basketball and rowing. In college, I joined an archery club and loved that. More recently, I have been getting into tennis, golf, and rock climbing. Oh and I did Muay Thai training in Thailand and had soo much fun!

In my free time, I enjoy making art. I like trying and learning new things, so I always take on a challenge to get out of my comfort zone with art. I enjoy most: painting abstract, drawing realist, ceramics, and making candles as well as clay jewelry. I have been learning to sew with the help of a friend, since I want to make my own clothing, but its really time absorbing haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam next to a pod of Orcas in Alaska.

I took a 12 hour cooking class in Thailand, in which I learned 10 dishes, and spent an entire day eating.

I went skydiving 2 times in Thailand in a 2 month span.

I spent 2 nights sleeping on the ground in the Thar Desert in India.

I climbed Mt Mardi Himal in Nepal in 4 days.

I got to caddy at a semi pro golf tournament for 3 days.

I hitch-hiked halfway across Thailand.

I dived with Manta rays in Indonesia.
