Overview
About Me
I'm a high-functioning science nerd, with a love for most outdoor activities, ultimate frisbee, and helping others. I've spent most of my time in school, and recently completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology, for which I still keep my lecture notes on hand. More recently, I've spend the last 10 months volunteering as a teaching assistant in the rural community of Fort Resolution, NWT, where I've been learning about Aboriginal culture, hunting, fishing, as well as the social problems that Northern Canadian communities face.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Northern Canada is like a different world within Canada, and my time here has given me the motivation to continue discovering new countries and cultures around the world. I'll be travelling around Europe this summer before starting medical school in the fall.
Any couchsurfers that stay with me in West Kelowna will be shown at least the same level of courtesy that I would appreciate while travelling Europe this summer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camped on the edge of the Great Slave Lake in the midst of a blizzard so thick that you could only see about 50m in front of you; watched the northern lights fall towards me in a kaleidoscope pattern of pink, purple and green; hiked Mount Royal in the early summer morning to watch the sun rise over the city of Montreal.
