I’m an American who lives in Shenzhen, China. Currently traveling around on a break.

When I travel, I don't just like seeing the touristy places. My favorite part is seeing where the locals go and observing what they do. I'm completely happy just when I am surrounded by a different language and new surroundings.

I don't see the point in just visiting a city, if you don't get to know the culture of the people in it. So I am here to make new friends and learn about the places I visit.

Intereses

I am usually traveling or planning my next trip. When I have free time I do tend to go a little heavy on Netflix. I am also a bit of a language freak so I will just start studying a new language when I have time - currently I’m trying to learn some Chinese Sign Language.

I like listening to Indie/Alternative music , but I listen to many different types as well, I also like listening to music in different languages.
My favorite movie is The Heat or Bridesmaids. I love comedies, romance, LGBTQ, and foreign films.

When the pandemic started I was on holiday from China and managed to travel to 7 countries before things became internationally bad and I got stuck in Kazakhstan for 3 months.
