Hi there, thanks for reading my description on considering Cabarete as a cool place to stay!

I am a frenchi who does not like cold weather so I moved to the tropical weather of Dominican Republic several years ago. Landed in Cabarete because I moved here as a kid with my parents week where keen in windsurf. I moved back to France after a year however we kept coming back and when I finished university I decided to call Cabarete home.

I love gallina about travelling and I am sure you do to if you are on CS so here is a bit of context. The travel bugs started in Europe during my years in university. Studying in Finland and Spain definitely helped. I then visited some countries in Latine America since I live in the DR. In 2019, I travelled with a backpack for 6 month in Asia and was planning to go for one year to Australia but it did not go as expected (no need to mention why...)

Interesses

I enjoy almost all outdoor activities (keep me away from a bike if you want me to stay alive) and water sport. I am very active most day with activities that varies from salsa, yoga, HIT workout, tennis, hiking.
But my true love goes to food, cooking as much as eating, with a slight preferences for sweet taste!
I consider myself quite a simple person. Do not invite me to a party, (I might say yes but I will not go - sorry not sorry), but I am always down to meet during the day.
I appreciate my day off with a good book, some exercices, probably some baking.
I am fond of architecture and when ever I travel I wish a was a tiny mice who could sneak into the house and see the inside interior of most houses and apartments.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I have no memory whatsoever to recall the name of a singer, an actors or a writers but I consume a LOT of books (always have 2 books on the go, a fiction for night time and a smarter one for time off during the day).
I listen to every type of music but above all what I like is to discover new songs from the people I meet ( which I will instantly forget the name).

One won't be enough since everything amaze me!
But here are a few:
Watch Northern lights in Finland, get lost in the Alambra in Grenada, be in Cuba for 9 days and not dance salsa because of Fidel's mourning but still love every minute, walk 74km in 3 days in the Columbian jungle...

Learning how to be more respectful of nature. Strongly dislike the consumption we have around plastic or over consumerism. I will be that one girl who brings her container to the restaurant to make sure I do not use single use containers.
I enjoy listening to podcast on entrepreneurship, self development, wellness (nutrition, natural healing method, yoga, massage).
I am happy to talk about all this and always keep an open communication even if I might disagree.
