My current mission is to meet great people, learn about other cultures, and create some sweet travel networks!

ABOUT ME

I am a Registered Nurse, currently working in Labour and Delivery, Maternity. I feel blessed to have found a career I love. I enjoy learning about and connecting with people. I love diversity and learning. I like to party, music is huge for me, and I enjoy being outdoors, particularly by water, lakes, rivers, ocean! I like camping and hiking, love sports, snowboarding, volleyball, and my yoga!

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had the chance to both host and surf! I've also enjoyed being involved in local CS Community activities here in Vancouver. Pub night and hiking are always a hit!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have managed to host a few surfers and surf a few couches so far, as well as get to know people through my local couch surfing community. It has been amazing! It's so refreshing to meet someone and feel like you've known them for years. Couch surfing has continually connected me with like-minded, friendly people!

兴趣

More than anything I enjoy learning about people and culture, and the human experience we share together. Never a dull moment! I love to be active with running, yoga, and sports. I love great, new, and interesting food and sharing it with others.

Some books I would recommend include: Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah, Dancing with Life by Phillip Moffitt, War Child by Emmanuel Jal.

Some of my favourite Musicians/Bands: The White Stripes (Jack White in any form really), Weezer, Santigold, the XX, Nicolas Jaar, Laura Marling, Jack Johnson. I love folk, reggae, indie type genre music and I am a live music junkie for life!

I'm not as in to movies, so a bit more light hearted in this category: Anchor Man, Zoolander, Dumber and Dumber, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Ace Ventura Pet Detective, Terminator 2, Crash, Into the Wild.
