ABOUT ME

I'm a born and raised Washingtonian with an appreciation of what the Pacific Northwest has to offer (coffee, woods, big bodies of water). I'm a people person and I love getting to know new people, listening to their background and stories. I have a penchant for random adventures and aim to have them more and more often.

I currently live in Seattle, very close to downtown and within a ~30 minutes or less drive to the airport. Seattle is a great city with lots of parks, diverse restaurants and beautiful people.

Right now I work for a nonprofit clinic helping patients get oncology care, working a hybrid remote work and in the office schedule. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering where I can, exercising, cooking, baking, hiking, walking, listening to podcasts, reading... I've gotten pretty inventive in occupying my time since the pandemic began.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is so short, so taking chances, risks, and opportunities is my personal philosophy. We only live once and we should make the best of it. Live with no regrets, hold nothing back. Life is truly beautiful, lets contribute to the beauty by living and creating a sustainable future.

I promote couchsurfing when and where I can by conversation. It's amazing to hear about all the amazing experiences others have had couchsurfing, and sharing my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love making connections and meeting new people. It has been an incredible and positive experience to host couchsurfers. I have learned a lot about different cultures and am happy to be part of someone's journey. When I was hosting a lot, I felt like I had the opportunity to really show off this area. And I made many friendships from these encounters. To this day, I am very good friends with 4 of the couchsurfers from whom I hosted and I would not have met them if it wasn't for couchsurfing.

Intereses

Great food, meeting new people, good drinks, hiking, current events, watching all kinds of movies, stand up comedy, eco-conscious living, knitting, running, music, trying something new.
