ABOUT ME

I think my friends would say that I am fun-loving, easy-going and down to earth. I love to go with the flow and learn from the locals. I think traveling with people who live somewhere is the best way to travel. Some of my favourite things are drinking tea with a good book and a blanket in the fall, walking my dog by the river when I'm home to visit, watching documentaries with friends and discussing them, trying new recipes, baking cookies and banana bread, sketching and playing with my students.

Had wonderful experiences in both New Zealand and Australia staying with people and would love to return the favour.

Interests

I enjoy playing sports and being active (hiking, biking, walking, volleyball, baseball etc) learning languages, trying new things and challenging myself; being crafty & creative, live music, concerts, singing & dancing, reading, meeting new people and learning from them, I love to dance but I'm not much of a club person, board games, movies and drinks with friends new and old~

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a little bit of everything, from the classics to stupid corny humour. I'm pretty easy to please as far as movies and music go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Great wall of China, the turqoise (my favourite colour) water in Kho Phi Phi island Thailand, walked the white sandy beaches of the Whitsundays, chased the Geishas down the Gion district, went Skydiving over the beautiful picturesque New Zealand landscape....

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English, which I have been teaching as a second language in Korea for a while now, I speak some Korean as well. I've played a lot of sports and dabbled in different dance genres and could sing if you need a backup for your band~ I am also a really good organizer, if you need your cupboards rearranged :) I would love to pick up a little bit of all different languages, learn some photography techniques or if you can teach me how to cook a good meal I'd be up for that as well~
