ABOUT ME

First they would laugh, because they know words could not accurately describe the type of person I am. Imaginative, outgoing, friendly, down to earth. I consider myself someone that is realistic but has great ambition at the same time. They would say I am a giant oxymoron, a meeting of opposites, organized chaos. I'm patient but at the same time like to make decisions on the fly and see where they take me. Life is too short to second guess yourself and sometimes you just shouldn't make U-turns.

PHILOSOPHY

Life has it's twists and turns, it throws curveballs at you, but also lets you hit home runs. It is what it is, and it is your job to live it to the fullest.

The purpose of life may be that there is no purpose, just events that lead you to believe that there is a purpose. Who knows?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Why? Because if there's a community out there willing to try and restore faith in humanity, who am I to turn them down.

Couchsurfed in Taipei, Tokyo, Kyoto, Australia, and Hawaii! All amazing, amazing experiences leading to the best of friendships.

Hosted surfer in Pasadena last year for 3 days!

兴趣

I love sports. I've played water polo and swam competitively basically my whole life and love the water. I love how photographs can transport you into the exact time and spot the picture was snapped. I love conversation and how it helps you discover more about yourself and others at the same time. And I love peanut butter-- unless you're allergic. Then I hate it.

I enjoy all sorts of music. It ranges from country to electronic. Recently, I've gotten back into reading, mostly Sci-fi and the occasional self help. I also just discovered how fascinating podcasts can be, they're usually on (or NPR) when I'm driving around now.

Cliff jumping in Hawaii and Nice. Finishing a 5 person meal with 2 people. Going to Las Vegas on a whim and staying less than 24 hours. Being born. Scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef. Traveling around the entire country of Taiwan by train. Discovering there is no turkey in Turkey. Oh, was this supposed to be one thing?

I can play the ukulele, speak cantonese, mandarin, english, and a little bit of spanish. I also love photography, I'm no pro at any of these but I can try!

I also love cooking, especially some good ol' American ribs and steak. I'm also good at making rice. It's truly an art form.
