Overview
About Me
Chinese-American INFJ, public health aficionado, yogi. Lover of social justice, cross-cultural exchange, and new friends/experiences. Believer in living spiritually.
I quit my job to travel and to try to satisfy my insatiable wanderlust tendencies. Before my travels, I lived in Seattle, worked professionally in global health, and volunteered extensively with community projects related to food/nutrition. I love learning, dancing salsa, cooking, reading, hiking, and yoga- I'm actually a certified yoga instructor and would be happy to teach you/your friends! Currently, I am living in Chicago and studying medicine.
At the end of 2016, I'm traveling in South America before I start medical school in Chicago in July 2017. When I'm a doctor, I plan on practicing medicine in resource-poor areas, whether it's at home in the US or abroad.
"Listen-- are you breathing just a little, and calling it a life?" (Mary Oliver)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm still working on my personal motorcycle driving skills, but one of my most life-changing experiences was seeing 1000 miles of Vietnam on the back of my friend's motorcycle. It's amazing to see how little someone can have and how much they're willing to share.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I'm a certified yoga instructor, so I'd be more than happy to give you/your roommates some yoga lessons :) Aside from that, I'd be more than happy to exchange language skills, such as English or Chinese.
