ABOUT ME

Travelling is my passion but I have a lot of interests... I enjoy taking my time when I am travelling, eating lots of local food, and just watching people go by. I am not one to visit ALL the museums and tourist attractions but prefer to talk or observe people and experience a different culture...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a few couches and hosted a few great people (now friends). Have also met for lots of coffees/lunches/dinners and given a few tours. In London I have gotten involved with the local CS community through the London Dining Club and local events.

I enjoy meeting travellers for coffee, drinks or food and/or show them around Cambridge when I have time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met a lot of my close friends through couchsurfing and have enjoyed many great experiences. It's a brilliant tool for finding like-minded travellers at home or far away. It's amazing how quickly people that share a similar ethos can go from strangers to close friends! It's hard to explain couchsurfing to people that aren't familiar with it but it is not about free accommodation, it's about community.

Interests

i love the outdoors. Since moving to England I have spent a lot of time rowing...it's addictive ;) Yoga is part of my daily routine... i like sporty activities (scuba diving, snowboarding, hiking, surfing). I also enjoy cooking, reading, films and planning my next big adventure (or small one)!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

bungy jumping in Las Vegas, sky diving in New Zealand, bus ride from Bangkok to Phuket (not amazing but memorable), surfing in Costa Rica/Hawaii/Morocco, cooking in Thailand, scuba diving in Hawaii/New Zealand/Thailand/Portugal/Greece, sleeping in a rain filled hammock in Panama, eating very fresh raw squid in Korea, experiencing the Taj Mahal in India, hitchhiking in Morocco
