About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get into contact with travelers to get a glimpse of what I miss right now, new ideas, the good spirit and pay back what I got offered.

ABOUT MYSELF

I'd say I´m an outgoing and adventurous woman from Germany that wants to get to know places all over the world. I've studied kind of Educational Science/Social Work in Marburg, it's one hour from Frankfurt/Main to the north.
At the moment I'm working with youth in my home town, giving pottery classes, looking after a 2nd home for kids or going for camps at the weekend.
I was hitchhiking in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland in August 2013. That was my first longer experience to travel this way and it was quite interesting to meet such helpfull and welcoming people! Soon I felt much more like I just want to live the moment and get to know locals wherever I go. In 2014 I hitchhiked through Australia, New Zealand and 2015 even in Bali/Indonesia. Also Germany, of course. Couchsurfing is similar, I feel. You´ve got no idea where you end up, get into people's houses and lifes and experience so many interesting, challanging and life-forming situations.

After another 8 months of traveling outdoors in 2017 I lived in the south of Germany just to get back to where I came from.
Living at a special place right now and enjoy silence and mother nature :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not just to get to know new and interesting people, also to crash the system of Airbnb, B&Bs, Hostels, Hotels and all the places you pay for a night. There´s so much space in the world, why should I pay for something if there´re people out there who think the same?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I take part in cs-events (actually not that often lately) , make new friends, surf couches and host some travellers sometimes!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There are so many people giving you the key to their rooms, I love this faith in the world! And I'm wondering again and again about it. While I was traveling around the world I did it when I couldn't find a place for my tent or needed a shower ;)

Interests

My cat, adventure, sewing (sometimes, but not really well), nature, friends, traveling, hiking, visit the theatre, listening to slam poetry, take a swim in a lake/river/ocean, read a book, diving...

Music, Movies, and Books

When you´re traveling or looking for the sense of life: read the Alchemist

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving at the Great Barrier Reef was one of the most amazing things I´ve ever done, also hiking the first part of the Skye Trail! Amazing shape of landscape!

Teach, Learn, Share

Could teach you some German or how to cook or bake jummy stuff! Also I got the key to a pottery kind of place ;)
Positive strong energy

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sorry, definitely not my toothbrush ;)
Stories, fun, alcohol, baking lasagne
